Clarinda, IA 66 degrees, bright sunshine. Took the car about 6 blocks to have the oil changed and tires rotated and rode the trike back up the hill. Later rode it back down and got the car and Phyllis took it and drove to a local green house. This morning I had mowed the lawn, finished it this afternoon when Phyllis informed me I had forgotten a patch on the west side of the house. Am sure that I was going to do it, sometime before I forgot it.
In Marengo I was on a computer that didn't have very fast internet this weekend, so am adding some photos from the weekend now. At right is our grandson-in-law Heath on Sunday evening getting the BBQ grill going to do some Brats at their place.
And the picture below is at the table with the completed grilled items
along with some other goodies. They just moved into their house in
Marengo last fall and he is just finishing his first year as Band and
Vocal Instructor at Belle Plaine, IA.
On Saturday evening son Cam grilled some steaks with his grill on his new patio. At left are Cam, Lynn, Ashley, Heath and Patty.
Lower photo shows Phyllis and Cameron. A church is their neighbor to the east and you can see that building behind them.
Got a call a few moments ago from Bill Oberholser--they are spending the night in Maryville, MO just to the south of us and will be here in the morning and stay for a few days.
Till later, Lymnn
