West Branch, Michigan

We drove up to see the iron ore ships at the locks north of St. Ignes on Saturday and on Sunday we pulled south across the long bridge between the upper and lower peninsulas.  Set up in county fairgrounds and then spent Saturday afternoon and evening with Bill & Darlene Winslow.  They were helping their daughter with a yard sale at their place.  In the evening they exposed us to the game of Cribbage.  Sunday we went in to West Branch, filled up with diesel and then spent the rest of the day at Winslows.  Went out to eat last night at a town north of there.  In a bit we will pick up here and head southwest to see Cathy & Ken West and then on towards Flint to stop overnight at Dave & Peg Gilmore's place.
Did get some rain last night and is cool and damp out this morning.
