Clarinda, IA - Had an inch of rain last night and some wind, but to be more wind tomorrow afternoon and evening.
Saturday late noon Phyllis fixed a shishkabob (however its spelled) and we grilled it after marinating both it and some broccoli to eat on the deck.
Not so bad -- was late in afternoon so we had to tip the umbrella to the west to get any shade -- that's why the post is angled.
Phyllis was able to photograph this butterfly in the back yard.
This is one of the baby robins that was in the windmill nest earlier.
Oliver & Mary Jo Herzberg from Villisca came down Sunday evening and we got a Jay's Pizza to eat on the deck and then played cards.
Been listening to news yesterday and today about President Erkle (currently King of US) trading terrorist prisoners for a soldier of ours that was captured while off-duty and rambling around Afghanistan 5 years ago. Erkle is the only President we have ever had that thinks he has the power to do anything he pleases, whether legal or not.
Later, Lynn
