Got in to Austin about 5:00 pm. Lots of traffic, but are in a really nice RV Park (Passport America). Have unhitched and will go on guided tour of Capitol in the morning before heading on south.
This morning we left Grand Prairie and stopped in Burleson, TX (about 30 miles) and had breakfast at a really nice restaurant "Our Place" with Nancy and Dale Carver. Was about noon when we quit our visit and headed down I 35. Terrific weather, but a little windy for pulling the trailer. Computer showed averaging only about 9 mpg with the 20-30 mph head and crosswind.
