Cooler, with rain coming

La Feria, TX  77º - light showers this afternoon and heavier rains forecast for next 2 days.

Picked up Darlene and Bill Winslow at the airport in McAllen last night on their arrival from West Branch, Michigan.  They had been scheduled to come in on their last leg (from Dallas) around 8:15 pm; but with several delays they finally arrived just after 11 pm.  With stop to eat a bite (they hadn't had chance to eat) at Whataburger's after Midnight we finally got them home around 12:45 am.

Rode the trikes about 6 miles this afternoon, after one shower and before another.  Yesterday we bought 1/2" pvc pipe and I plan to run it under the trailer from the outside faucet to a new faucet on the front drive-side of the Mobile home to make it easier to water flowers, etc. on that side.

Also picked up new water filters for the drink faucet in the kitchen and some other items at Lowe's.

Here are gas prices at the Valero gas station about a block from us.
Filled diesel at WalMart at $3.309 with the 3 cents discount by using a gift card.  We had seen diesel as high as $3.53 in the area here near Harlingen, but in driving over to McAllen last evening did see several stations with diesel in the $3.30-$3.40 range and one station at $3.25.

    Gas right now in Eagle Bend is $2.89! Hope it keeps coming down before we head out. There is light snow here today. Nothing accumulating here but 1.2 inches at Perham which isn't to far away. Could have waited till after we left but will have to take it as it comes, D/L and J

    Got gas Thursday at $2.82.9. Today saw gas from $2.92.9 to $3.09.9. Diesel back up to $3.90+.
