Though I didn't take any photos of it, Phyllis and I helped in the kitchen with warming cheese and chili and fixing drinks and setting up serving tables. Well over 50 people attended.
Got to add this photo of Lois and Pat Sumner, from Colby, Kansas, watching the veterans being recognized at the flag raising ceremony. They just fit that double rocker fine, don't they?
Temperature was near 80 degrees yesterday as I put up outside antenna for cell amplifier. Photo at right is looking down our roof toward south. Harold and LaRhoda Neher's place to the left.
This photo is looking down the roof showing the carport awnings that cover the "Texas Room" I have been working on.
Object in center is the outside antenna for the cell phone amplifier. I experimented with different places for the internal "broadcasting" antenna and today, when I get through with all this typing and photo-inserting, I am going to drill some holes and string the co-axial cable through some walls to get them and the amplifier permanently mounted.
Yesterday we had windows open and fans running as it was near 80 degrees. Furnace is running today with it 47 degrees out and rain continuing.
Later, Lynn
We have 8 inches of snow and 10 degrees this AM. We'll trade ya! D/L&J
