La Feria, TX 72º 84% humidity very overcast.
Picked up Patty Steckelberg at the Harlingen Airport about 4:30 yesterday afternoon. We ate a bit of supper at Church'es Chicken and then rode the bikes around the park into the dark of evening.
Phyllis & Patty went to water aerobics at 6:45 am this morning and we all rode bikes down to the rec hall at 8:00 am for stretching chair exercises. Not sure what we are going to do today, but think the girls are going to the hall to work with the quilt tying at Care & Share and I might putter on installing small roof over the back door steps. I bought a very green 4" x 4" treated 10' long board last week and have been letting it dry some on top of the shed, turning it every day or so. Don't know if it is really drying any or not with the high humidity. Sun hasn't been coming out by noon each day, so not a lot of direct sunshine on the wood. Have an older 4" x 4" that neighbor donated and know it will remain straight. May go ahead and put this up and see how much it curves over the next few months.
Since haven't been doing much out of the ordinary and haven't taken new photos, I have been looking on the computer at old photos, will post some of them.
