Hot in RGV

La Feria, TX  97º showing on my outdoor thermometer.  Sunshine is intense.

Went for a short ride - 11 miles - before it got too warm this morning.  Saw some cotton growing.

We saw these ducks and ibis' also.

After we got back from the ride we ate a late breakfast of scrambled eggs with pieces of steak left over from the grill last evening.

We cleaned the deck furniture and have put it in the spare bedroom; loaded most of the boxes in the little trailer ready to leave Tuesday.  We are going to Las Vegas restaurant this evening with Jim & Lavin Boozer and Bill and Twila Oberholzer and will probably play some pegs and jokers afterwards.
