La Feria, TX 79º To get to 86º today and 89º Friday, but in the 70's for the weekend when we will go to Hildago, TX to attend one day at Border-Fest.
Had friends Oliver & Mary Jo over for oyster soup and then couple card games of "Hand & Foot" last evening. Had finally closed up the house and turned on the air conditioner, for first time in several weeks. Outside, in the wind, was comfortable but lots of nasty mosquitoes out and about.
I did some work on the roof over the back door, building a scaffold out of lumber that was left over from altering the front deck last November. Will take it all down when get the last two roof panels up and paint the wooden frame parts.
Supposed to be cooler next week, may return to work on it then. Today am trying to get some computer work caught up. Have to download and convert the video I made of the 50th Wedding program last Sunday and try to get it on a DVD. I had trouble with the CR2 files that were on the card I borrowed and copied for the photos when it came to getting them printed. I did not realize Walmart wouldn't be able to read them and after some experimenting I was able to convert them to .jpg files through Picasa 3 this morning. Will get them all printed so the people can have a printed record for the people who put it on.
Lots of spaces opening up here at Kenwood RV as people are heading north. Would imagine some 40 or more units have left since it was the most full in early January.
Till later, Lynn
