On way to Iowa

We are in RV Park in north part of Cape Girardeau, MO.  Intended to stay at brother Don's place, but it is on grass, on slope, with tight turn-around space.  Was raining on us most of the afternoon yesterday as we came north through Arkansas and we decided would be better to sit on a level piece of cement about 8 miles from Don's place.  Rained hard during the night and is predicted for storms today and tonight.  Have intentions of heading north on Friday, stopping at Marti & Carl's place north of St. Louis and then going on north to eastern Iowa to be at son Cam's during the weekend.

We ate out with Everett & Bonnie Uphoff in Heber Springs, AR Tuesday evening.

Phyllis bought a lot of fabric at store in Batesville, AR

At Uphoff's Tuesday evening.
Even after huge (and good) supper at restaurant Bonnie had desert and coffee while we visited.

Everett on his "seat" in the garage where he can keep watch on traffic on the street and visit with people as they pass.

Everett's car with Navy WWII Veteran license.

Enjoyment of pulling your house around--blew a tire just south of Sarcey, Arkansas.  Was able to pull over into lot of school and a teacher and maintenance worker at the school helped change the spare and put air in it.  Within an hour was on up the road.

Visited a bit last evening with Vicki and the dogs.  Don was doing a massage at the Fitness Center.

We stopped at Lake Livingston, Texas and visited with Patty Loveridge who used to manage Kenwood, and her husband Glenn.  Will post their pictures later.  Must leave now...................finish later.
