Windy Day

La Feria, TX  67 degrees - High of 84, low this morning of 54.  High south winds most of the day.  While Phyllis was getting a hair cut here at our house late this afternoon I rode 13.5 miles on the trike and could only go about 8 mph going south, but a comfortable 13 mph going north!  Rode one mile on one of the trails at La Feria Nature Center and there are other trails there that will be good for hiking or biking when the kids are here at Christmas.  It is at the south end of Rabb Road just west of us and only a little over 2 miles from our house.
This morning, after doing the stretching exercises at the Rec Hall we hauled items from the shed over to the Rec Hall for the first of the season Share & Care.
They did a lot of sorting of donated materials today as well as work on some quilts.  At 3 pm hauled an even bigger load of sorted boxes of materials back to their "Lil' Shed"

Over the last few days, when riding the trikes, saw a few interesting signs:

Got enough of the deck fence and hand rails finished so Phyllis can put up her Christmas lights on them.
Phyllis went to the Thursday night bean bag baseball at the Rec Hall after supper this evening, but I was beat and skipped it.
Till later, Lynn
