Enjoying San Diego

Have been in San Diego area since last Tuesday.  Will pull out and head to the Los Angeles area tomorrow.  Spent the weekend with Cousin Kent Miles and his wife Karen and their grandson Cameron.  On Saturday Rick Miles, his daughter and girlfriend came as well as Cousin Louise Lassen from Costa Mesa.

Yesterday we toured the USS Midway.  Kent is a Docent on the Midway, usually showing and explaining the workings of the engine room where he spent much of his Navy life in similar ships. 

They surprised me with a 70th birthday cake on Saturday evening.

We are heading out this morning to ride the MTS Trolley and see the area from the train.  Probably go to Old Town and other areas.
