Clarinda, IA

Gosh, this is one of the longer stays this summer, think we have been in Clarinda for 9 days.  Usually move on by this time..................but probably won't have the trailer hitched up for another 3 weeks or so.

Phyllis and niece Sarah Gregory - In Omaha last Saturday.

            At Ann's volleyball game.

This photo was taken sometime in the 1940's.  It is my Grandfather Alonzo Miles in Cavour, SD with my cousins Louise and Louis Lassen.  Louise had posted this on her Facebook page.  I do not recall having any photo of him.

Having mowed the lawn, sprayed 2-4D on the dandelions, trimmed the hedge in back of the house and the bushes in front of the house, covering the back deck with a new layer of Thompsons Water Seal and finally getting electricity back on to the workshop it seems like we are adjusting a little to being in one place for a while.Though Phyllis has vacuumed the trailer and the Ford, we won't pull out until mid to a little later in October.

Above is back yard looking east, with hedge trimmed and grass mowed.   At right is view from same spot towards west.  I had to cut some limbs off the mulberry tree to the right that were hanging down on the bedroom at the left.

Just east of our deck, looking towards work shop.

Planning on going to Lincoln Sunday to see Lynn & Jan Fast and their new house, then see my brother Roger & family and hopefully some of his kids who also live in Lincoln.  On Monday we intend to go to SAC Air Museum in Gretna, NE.

Till later, Lynn
