Arrived at our Mobile Home on Lot 312 in Kenwood RV in La Feria, TX a little after 6 pm on Monday. Since they had not put any unit in Lot 314 we parked our travel trailer there and unloaded some stuff that night but dark got us. Worked the next day, and after some 4 hours of transferring stuff from the unit we had lived in pretty much for 6 months this spring and summer.
On Sunday morning, when our trailer was still in the back yard at Russ & Krista Heuer's yard, we enjoyed the usual huge Sunday morning breakfast that Russ likes to fix. Bacon, eggs, fresh cut hash brown potatoes, bacon, etc. Delicious and we ate too much, but it was a good full hurt.
Girl at far right is friend of Shy's that had stayed overnight after the pumpkin carving/wiener roast party on Saturday night. Think there were some other girls who stayed over also, but they didn't stay for breakfast.
We played a game of Mexican Hat Dominoes and all enjoyed.
Clay got to goofing off with some plastic mouth pieces.
Doug the dog kept watch on things.
We drove all day Monday and south of Victoria, Texas ran in and out of rain many times. Sometimes it rained very hard, but didn't last long each time.
Lots of scary clouds and there were weather warnings on the radio, but we didn't experience anything more than moderate winds.
This palm tree, growing right beside our tool shed and at the edge of the new aluminum awning I put up just before we left in the spring, really grew during the summer.
Note the trimmed palm tree by the shed now.
Will start working on removing the tool shed and getting cement floor poured to make big area for work shop and storage area.
Where we parked the trailer while unloading. This put the door side towards our mobile home. Later after dumping tanks, turned it around and parked it on the dirt between our place and the cement where it is sitting in this picture.
Had to get Dish Tech in to help hook up the black box we had brought from Clarinda. Guess couldn't remember who it had been hooked up. This morning I cut weeds on the outside of our back fence. Will start to take down part of the deck and then store stuff from the tool shed there so will have room to pour cement when get the tool shed moved.
Later, Lynn
