Day 24 on wheels!

Santa Fe, NM
First, here is site for the Cross at Groom, OK I promised some time ago. The Cross  Click to see.
Also, I have photos of  G W Bush boyhood home in Midland, TX

We were at Capulin RV Park just 3 miles south of Capulin Volcano National Monument
one night and drove up to the top of the volcano at 7,877 feet yesterday morning
but the weather had moved in -- it was cold and we were in clouds.
Our RV Park was at  6,836 feet and it was predicted to be 19 degrees there this morning with probable snow.  We took off for Santa Fe as prediction was only 29 degrees, which proved pretty close -- it was 28 this morning.  Our trailer really isn't a 4-season and wouldn't fare well that cold insofar as water pipes, etc.

Looking south, down on Capulin, NM
We are at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground a few miles east of Santa Fe.  Time to take off to see Santa Fe and the New Mexico Capital building.
