In Sultan, WA

Headed to Medicine Lake, WA.  Found a stop-over in little town of Sultan, WA.  Railroad tracks (and Amtrak) runs right behind us in this small RV Park.

This morning we pulled up stakes at Gig Harbor, went down past end of the water at Tacoma and came back up to Federal Way where we met Phyllis' cousin David Runyan for lunch at an Old Country Buffet in a shopping mall.  Lots of traffic around Tacoma and again this afternoon north of Seattle.

After lunch we went to Everett, WA and was able to get tickets for the factory tour at Boeing Aircraft.  Wow, huge place and lots of huge airplanes under construction. Found lot of interesting facts about their building of airplane, but no cameras allowed, so have nothing to show.

We had met Sheryl Brown (Daughter of our friends in Clarinda who are looking after our house) yesterday afternoon when she got off work and we took taxi from where she worked, near the Space Needle, to the harbor and ate at the famous Ivar's Fish.  Little on the expensive side, but was right on the ocean and we had window seats and watched the ferries and other boats coming in and out as we visited and ate.  After a bit of shopping on the front we were able to walk the short distance to our Bremerton Ferry and catch the 6:45 pm one so was not quite dark when we got clear back to our trailer in Gig Harbor.

Will probably stop one more time before getting to Medicine Lake near Spokane where we will visit Jack and Janeen Preo probably on Sunday and then see if we can look up Doug & Sue Tindle who are working in the woods near the Idaho border for the summer.  After that we head to Glacier National Park.

Later, Lynn
