La Feria, TX - 83º with predicted low tonight of 67º
Toured the capitol of Texas yesterday morning and then hooked on to the trailer about 11:30 am and headed south. Got in to Kenwood just at dark. Slept in the trailer and have spent most of today opening the house (all windows have insulation between inner and outer windows) and moving the stuff from trailer and Ford. Started to put wheels back on trikes; went to Post Office to resume delivery of mail here. Had had it held up for last 2 weeks, but there was one letter already in mailbox here. Is a but muggy and without electricity in our mobile home now way to cool it today. I had forgotten to notify the electric company to turn the juice back on (usually call a week or so before we get here, but completely forgot this year). They are scheduled to turn it on today, but haven't seen them so far. When gets dark will probably move back to trailer and run generator for the evening.
Will have internet hooked up at our house tomorrow and, if we get electricity, will be able to get on there. Am at Rec Hall now.
Will get photos more up to date and do some posting on them.
