Yesterday, Friday, the vegetable vendor came to the park and everyone grabbed onto all sorts of vegetables.
Today we loaded up the bikes and
intended to ride around at Texas Trails RV.
We headed west on Expressway 83, spotted a Pulga (Spanish for flea) and stopped at a
huge "Mexican" flea market. Spent an hour and
a half walking around, picking up some " bargains".
We then went on to an HEB+ grocery store
where we bought some groceries and some flowers that we took to nursing home where Phyllis' Aunt Eva Hill is. Then we went on to Texas Trails RV Park, arriving just in time for the Big Band Jam.
Besides listening to almost two hours of big band music we enjoyed some popcorn and excellent "homemade" ice cream bars.
Before we left Texas Trails we drove around a bit and saw some of their jackrabbits.
Then we headed to Willie's Bar-B-Q and the three of us split one stuffed potato (beef and lots of other stuff) and one bowl of "Cowboys Bowl" (a mixture of rice, beef, beans, and Salsa. Real good food!
Took some photos outside. Patty, Bill, Lynn, Phyllis, Darlene, Lavin and Jim.
Choir tomorrow at church in the Rec Hall and then probably eat out with a group.
