A week or so ago I started working on putting an 18 foot extension onto the north end of our carport awning. Here are the 14' long steel legs that I was getting ready to cut shorter
With my back aching a little, I found I could move the 60 pound bags of Sackrete from the car to the back area easier by using the recumbent trike as a wheel-barrow.
One pole set and am trying to determine level so can cut the second pole to get right height.

This photo taken before the one above, hadn't yet put the pole in the hole. By using a post-hole digger and alternately digging and soaking with water, I dug all four holes two and a half feet deep over period of a couple days.

Now that the trailer to the west has been pulled out a full view can be seen of the west side of our trailer. Shows the awning being put over the current storage shed. Will remove the shed later, probably this fall when we return.

Played Pegs & Jokers at Bob & Bobbie Raab's last week one night. This is Bob's daughter and friend who were visiting from Minnesota. They are heading back to the cold already.

Yesterday we drove to Pharr, TX and visited briefly with Phyllis' aunt Eva who is in a nursing home there and then went on to Paradise South RV for their weekly Jam. They sell lunch - Brats, Burgers, or Hotdogs - and then we enjoyed the jam from 12:30 pm to around 3:30 pm. They have a very nice, large

After the Jam we rode our Recumbent Trikes around the park. They told us there are near 700 permanent units, with space for maybe 15-20 in and out RV's.
They have really nice wide streets. Guess the park was built just 11 or 12 years ago.
About 4:30 pm, after our riding the recumbent trikes for a while, we went with Jim and Lauveda (at the left of photo at right) and Jerry Davis
Well, is up to 63 degrees, but the wind is cutting. May get to work some on the carport roof, may wait for more pleasant time.
Phyllis is working at the Rec Hall with the Sew & Share group and we will be heading up to the Rec Hall for Meet and Greet as well as Bean Bag Baseball this evening.
Here are some of the park friends telling Charles and Terri Servin goodby. They pulled out this morning heading for central Illinois. There is snow up there, folks, but they needed to get home.
