'nother cool day in the valley

La Feria, TX 61 degrees overcast with a cool breeze (at least if you in short pants and t-shirt.

Few days ago I had to replace the air in my back tire on the trike.  Something to do with the small hole I patched on the tube.

Yesterday was the pretend "Red Hat" ladies day at the Golden Corral in Harlingen.  Many of the guys went and ate also, but not in the enclosed "troublemakers room" that they had the ladies in.

At left is Golden Corral's slant on fun.

Waiting in line, being friendly with some                       of the red hat ladies.

                          Red hat ladies in line.

After their meeting they asked me
to come in and take a group photo.
At right are Bobbi Raab and Doris
Winter, who were the day's organizers
                 of the activities.

                            Dorothy wasn't sure about my
                             coming into the room.
They all got assembled together for the photo finally.  You can click on it to blow it up larger to see your gal or friend.

Today I have finally lined up a truck to go over to Weslaco to pick up the car-port patio roof I am going to erect north of our existing one to make a work-shop, storage area and give shade to much more of the west side of our unit.

Heading to put on long pants and more shirts, till later, Lynn
