St. Paul, MN

We left Doris & Lyle Winter's place Sunday morning (after an enjoyable time visiting them - and playing Pegs & Jokers several times)

Saturday evening it was cool outside, with a nice breeze and we played in front of our trailer by their house back door.

We went to the Minnesota State Fair yesterday, spotting a parking lot several miles from the Fair where we could park free and ride a bus to the grounds.  Saved a lot of hassle with traffic.  At right are some lights that intrigued us -- not enough to buy, but enough to take picture.

Always interesting to walk through the horse barns.  We spent short times at several places watching judging, one was some really miniature horses.

Our site here at Rice Creek Chain of Lakes Park Reserve Campground at Lino Lakes, MN is in shade trees and all sites are really secluded.

Will spend today at Bob & Bobbi Raab's place and tomorrow go down to the Capitol and then pull north.  Hoping to catch Clare Lydel for a short visit and then spend 3 nights near Macinac Island before heading on the weekend down to Bill & Darlene Winslow's place.
